Kapaonik is a mountain range located between Serbia and Kosovo . It is home to the largest and most important Serbian ski resort . When you decide to visit Kopaonik in the winter season, you can use a really good lift infrastructure and well-maintained slopes of various difficulty levels.

In summer , however, you will be able to explore this mountain massif by taking advantage of the numerous hiking and biking trails. In the heart of the mountains you will also find an excellent hotel base , thanks to which you will be able to commune with truly beautiful nature and enjoy the stunning views.

Kopaonik is, above all , an ideal destination if you like to spend your free time actively , both in winter and summer. In addition, these mountains and the ski resort operating there are perfect for families with children .

It so happened that I stayed in Kopaonik twice - in summer and winter. On both visits I stayed at Apartments Suncani Vrhovi Kopaonik. I highly recommend them to you because of the really high standard and the fact that they are full-fledged apartments, with a kitchen and all the equipment. This is a really great choice if you are traveling with kids.

Do you want to feel the real mountain atmosphere? Stay overnight at Hotel Rtanj. It is located next to one of the ski slopes, but outside the main part of the ski resort. The hotel is surrounded by a forest and outside the peak winter season there is a truly relaxing atmosphere. The standard of the room was really ok. It was warm and the wifi worked properly. I didn't complain about the meals either.

Gorski Hotel & Spa

Gorski Hotel & Spa

My wife and I decided to stay at the Gorski Hotel & Spa in the winter. It is a large facility, located in the very center of the ski resort. After leaving the hotel, we could immediately use one of the ski lifts. The hotel offers quite spacious and nice rooms. We could also relax in the swimming pool or sauna, which was very recommended after a day of skiing.

If you are looking for a hotel that offers a high standard for relatively low money, then I can recommend Gray Hotel with a clear conscience. Visually, it was probably modeled on objects seen in the Alps. Located right next to the slopes. It has a SPA center with a swimming pool. The room was very comfortable and the meals were really tasty. I had a very enjoyable stay there.
