This Ferrari 458 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge is a factory-built race car that was acquired on behalf of its current owner by the selling dealer in 2016 after reportedly being used as a practice car under previous ownership. The body is finished in black and white livery, and power is from a 4.5-liter V8 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with an electronic differential. Features include an Evo kit installed in 2018, an air jack system, a roll cage, carbon fiber racing seats, and a data race kit as well as fire suppression, radio, and cool shirt systems. This 458 Challenge shows 7k kilometers (~4k miles) and is offered on dealer consignment with three sets of wheels and tires, spare parts, service records from 2016 to 2020, and a clean Washington State title.

The 458 Challenge featured reduced-thickness aluminum bodywork and carbon fiber panels from the factory, and this example is finished in white with Ferrari of Seattle livery and “854” numbering. Exterior features include Evo bodywork installed in 2018, Lexan windows, an air jack system, and dual tow hooks. The rear diffuser was fitted with replacement fins in 2016, and the windshield was replaced in 2017 with a custom made unit that does not have black bands at the top and bottom. A walk-around and start-up video has been provided by the selling dealer.

Three sets of BBS 19″ center-lock wheels are included with the car, two of which wear slick tires last replaced in July 2019 and the third fitted with rain tires. The 458 Challenge came factory-equipped with solid aluminum bushings, stiffer springs, single-rate dampers, and a ride height lowered by 30mm all round. Braking is handled by Brembo calipers paired with Girodisc rotors, and spare rotors and pads are included in the sale. A new power steering rack boot was installed in 2018, the power steering fluid was flushed in July 2019, and the brake master cylinder was replaced under factory recall in April 2020.
