Anna Silk reveals to Hello! she’s having a baby boy
The gorgeous Anna Silk dropped by the Hello! Canada offices today (Oct. 8) to talk about her work with Plan Canada’s Because I am a Girl campaign, saying farewell to Lost Girl and, of course, her growing family with husband Seth Cooperman. “ We are having another little boy!” she revealed to fans live on Periscope. The happy parents are set to welcome a baby brother for their son Sam early next year .

“Sam knows that this is a baby,” said Anna pointing to her growing bump. “And he knows what a baby is but I don’t think he’s put the two together yet” [ Laughs]. It was actually Sam who further inspired Anna to team up with Plan Canada. “I was aware of the campaign but I think it was when I had my son two and a half years ago, I realized I was in a hospital with all the resources I could possibly need and I thought about all the women around the world that don’t have those resources and that really hit me .”

The talented actress added that honouring the upcoming International Day of the Girl on Oct. 11 doesn’t require a huge commitment. “Girls rights are human rights and so for the Day of the Girl we are asking people to take the pledge ! It’s a call to action for the Day of the Girl but you can do it anytime of the year. The smallest thing you can do is just spreading awareness which makes people realize what’s going on so that they can make a difference .”
