Heart Shape Painting

February 10, 2020

I have always LOVED Valentine’s day and now being a momma I get to share the month of love with my boys with activities and crafts like this heart shape painting activity. The best part of this activity is that the painting tool in this is repurposed.

What Do You Need For This Activity?

The only things you need in the activity is a paper towel roll (or toilet paper roll), paint, and some paper! It’s really that easy. Finding quick activities to put together is essential as toddler parents as well all know their attention doesn’t last long. Check out another way to use the paper towel roll in this Painting with a re-purpose activity.

How To Get The Most Out Of This Activity

Observing your child as they work on mastering their fine motor skills is the best way to support your child with these types of activities. Sitting down with your child and painting with them is a great way to form stronger social skills as well. Plus, when adults are having fun, children are going to enjoy more, and when children are having fun they learn even better.
