I sent my baby’s photos to a modeling agency on a whim — now she’s the face of two major campaigns

She’s a real Boss Baby.

A Long Island infant who started modeling at just 5 months old has already earned $4,000 as the face of Walmart and Costco campaigns.

MJ was born on July 5, 2023, and got into modeling after her mom, Sarah Lutzker, 27, submitted cute photos to State Management Kids NYC.

MJ had her first photoshoot at 51/2 months old for Babylist, an app that lets you register for baby gifts.

Since then, 8-month-old MJ has modeled for Walmart, apparel retailer Hanna Andersson, loungewear seller Noggiwear, Koala Babycare, and Costco.

“I was very anxious for her first photoshoot,” Lutzker, a NICU nurse, told SWNS. “Honestly it was like an out-of-body experience. I did not know what was happening, as I have never done anything like that.”

Lutzker married husband Jeff, 27, in September 2022 and became pregnant with MJ the following month.

She said she had a healthy pregnancy and delivered 6-pound, 11-ounce MJ at Katz Women’s Hospital in Queens.

I was in labor for 32 hours. By the time I got to hold her in my arms, I was so tired and it wasn’t until a day or two after that I was able to take it all in,” Lutzker explained.

“MJ is such a happy baby,” she added. “I always say it is MJ’s world and we are living in it — she is the best.”

When MJ was 21/2 months old, Lutzker asked her friend to show a modeling agency some baby pics.

“I have a family friend and both of her daughters model,” Lutzker shared. “I asked if the agency was interested in babies.”

MJ quickly found herself booked and busy.

Her first photoshoot was only about 3 or 4 minutes long.

“Everyone was super, super nice on set, and they had a baby wrangler to keep the babies entertained,” Lutzker recalled.

She calls the bookings “our little adventures.”

“When we did some modeling for Walmart, they told us that the hooded towels she was modeling, MJ will be on the package for,” Lutzker said. “That makes us so, so happy, as we will buy the towels and keep the packaging forever.”

As the gigs roll in, Lutzker insists that she is “not trying to take away from [MJ’s] childhood and make her a model.”

She said as MJ gets older, she will be able to decide if she wants to continue with it.

In the meantime, the Lutzkers have put MJ’s earnings in a trust for use when she’s older.

“The agency will take a 20% cut from the money and then the rest of it goes to MJ,” Lutzker noted. “We haven’t touched any of it.”

Lutzker has been enjoying accompanying MJ to shoots and sharing their journey with her 10,700 TikTok followers.

“I am so lucky to have the best husband. Jeff has been working extra hours so I don’t have to go back to work yet,” Lutzker gushed about her spouse, who is an occupational therapist. “This means I can stay at home and do more modeling with MJ — he is so excited about it.”
