Directions

Step 1. Apply a thin layer of SOPHi Primer + Sealer in-one to clean nails and let air dry. The Primer creates a sticky surface for polish to adhere. Step 2. Apply polish color in thin layers, drying with blow dryer on warm heat/ low blower setting between coats. Lighter polish may require more coats. Fully dry each layer for best results. Step 3. Apply Shine Topcoat for added shine and chip resistance. Blow dry nails. Step 4. Apply thin layer of SOPHi Primer + Sealer in-one on top of Topcoat to seal polish. Don't forget to apply to tips of nails as well since this is where polish typically chips first. Blow dry nails.

I ordered "frearless" color because i wanted a red as in the amazon picture. The color in the bottle looks completely different then whats advertised.As it drys it looks more of a rusty red. Not even 24 hours my nails needed to be repainted. I tried on my 5 year old and within the hour three nails had color just pop off as if they were fake nails.Painted my toes as well. Wore socks and closed toed shoes and paint stayed on. No chips as of day 2.I personally wouldn't buy it again. I bought it because im pregnant and wanted something less toxic. But its not worth painting my nails daily for.

I had big hopes that this was going to be a great non-toxic polish. It is not. I purchased several colors of SOPHi nail polish and brought to use for a pedicure at my nail shop. The pedicurist had never heard of it but proceeded to use it for my pedicure. She had to stop and start over with another polish they had in the shop because she said the quality was so poor that she couldn't work with it. Very streaky so she tried 3 coats but then decided this was not going to work so removed and started over with one of the shop's polishes. Since I spent the money on several colors I decided to use to do my own nails and found it impossible to remove once it has been on your nails for a while. I actually had to contact the manufacturer for help with how to get this off my nails. I was given some crazy instructions for removal including soaking nails in gel nail polish remover and using an emory board to scrape the nail polish off while the remover was on. The use of all these harsh chemicals cancels out the fact that this nail polish is supposed to be chemical free. Since I had no other option I tried what they had instructed and completely destroyed my nails and I still couldn't get the polish off. Their correspondence also stated that leaving the polish on for more than a week will make it very hard to remove which I thought was a bit odd. I ultimately put all the products together and mailed them to the company only to be told they could not reimburse me. I spent $80 on their products and $9 to ship it to them so was disappointed to hear this. From my experience I would not recommend this product or dealing with this company. Eventually and thankfully after some weeks of cutting my nails down to stubs and having new growth I am free of this horrible product.

Is very easy to chip, does not last long (needs the coatings as stated, though I unfortunately was allergic to said top coat set as it did smell to me and thus cannot use), that said you can find ways around it, thinner doubled layers are great! I’ve used this brand for years but this color “out of the cellar” is just perfect. It is a deep, yet soft red with light sparkle and looks fantastic. Like all Sophi nail polishes it has no smell, last at least a week when you apply it at night and are removed easily with alcohol. The reason you apply it at night is so it has time to dry for at least 6 hours without contact with water.
