VM22 26mm Carb on 125 pit bike

One of the most common upgrades to do to a Chinese (SSR) 125 pit bike is to order the VM22 26mm carburetor. These carbs usually work okay out of the box but. This kit, in conjunction with a main jet kit, needle clip adjustments, and fuel screw adjustments, will allow you to get the jetting spot on. For me, as soon as the bike starts from cold, I can flip the choke off and the bike will idle fine immediately. This is one of the signs of a proper pilot jet size.

I have the Apollo DB 36 and the more mikuni carb upgrade. But the jets arent shooting enough fuel... So im going with a 22 slow and a 110 main.

So when I first got them they looked fine and fit, but after riding my bike like 100 feet I noticed it was running to rich, so I took apart my carb (mikuni vm22) and started unscrewing the pilot jet but when it came out I noticed that the tip has broken off and now was stuck in my carb. Now there is no way of getting that thing out of my carb and I have to buy a new one. The other jets looked fine maybe one of them was faulty but the size 25 one just broke when I was unscrewing it. Wouldn’t buy again. :(
