We can’t help but be excited for crisp weather and pumpkin spice lattes, as well as gorgeous fall weddings! So, if you are planning a fall wedding, we have some stunning fall wedding inspiration and ideas to incorporate the season into your big day.

Warm Color Palette

Burnt orange, mustard yellow, forest green, creamy whites, and terracotta are all seasonally appropriate colors to incorporate into your color palette. But don’t worry if you aren’t a fan of yellows and oranges; other colors like blush pink, sage green, and deep jewel tones also evoke the time of year. Gold, copper, and amber can add a touch of glamour to a palette as well.

Florals

We couldn’t talk about Fall wedding inspiration without talking about flowers and greenery! Some of our all-time favorites are sunflowers, baby’s breath, seeded eucalyptus, ranunculus, and white roses. If you are looking for a minimalist reception table design, consider a eucalyptus garland down the center of the table. You can tuck in some sunflowers, baby’s breath, or billy balls for a little extra texture and color. Wanting to save some money on your florals? We love the look of vintage or thrifted small jars and vases with one or two stems. Try them scattered down a long reception table or grouped in threes on cocktail tables or the bar.

Natural Elements

Whether your wedding is inside or outside, it is important to incorporate natural details throughout your dΓ©cor. For fall, that would include pumpkins, gourds, wheat, pampas grass, and wood accents. While most of us think of pumpkins being a bright orange, you can find them in hues of white, sage green, and a light orange that can almost lean to more of a pink shade. Likewise, pampas grass and wheat can look stunning grouped in planters anchoring the aisles of a ceremony.

Keep it Cozy

Fall invokes a feeling of cozy with the falling temperatures. You can create an environment for your guests that will make the event warm and welcoming by providing throws for an outdoor ceremony. For lighting, think candlelight, bistro lighting, lanterns, or an outdoor seating area with a fire pit and s’mores during your reception. These elements will cultivate a setting that will allow your guests to feel comfortable throughout the day.

Last but certainly not least, you can tie a fall wedding together with your food and drink selections. Your guests will love hot apple cider on a chilly day for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour. Consider swapping out bar options to hard cider or darker beers for the season. Mini grilled cheese sandwiches paired with pumpkin bisque, a salad with fresh sliced apples, or even mini pies as a favor are all great ways to incorporate the flavors of the season.

We can’t wait to see all of the fall weddings as we approach October. What is your favorite thing about fall? Let us know in the comments.
