The Homecoming game was a fantastic game. The Bucs played with all their might to beat the Hillgrove Warhawks. The special part of a Homecoming game is halftime. The reason it is so special is because the King and Queen are crowned. The winners of each class were all surprised that they won and were so happy about it. The class of 2026 had Olivia Hendricks and George Kahinga win. Both Bucs were so surprised at winning, especially at their first Homecoming as a high schooler. The class of 2025 winners were Ava Haag and Aaron Smith. Ava had high hopes of winning, and Aaron did not even believe it once they called his name. The class of 2024 winners, Arianna Flynn and Nish Patel, had not thought of winning until they did. Arianna wanted to say some words to her class about winning, “It was really cool to win, and I want to thank my class for everything.” Then the class of 2023 winners were Valeria Lopez and Cayden Phillips. Valeria had not thought about even coming close to winning. Her family and friends were so proud of her for winning, especially for being the vice president of Helm and all her hard work. Cayden won two times in a row which surprised him. He thought it was going to be an extremely close call to the crowning of the King, and he was very surprised when they called his name. Congratulations to everyone on winning the Homecoming Court for your class, and we hope you had fun.
