I'm just glad he is not dead, hope I did not just jinx that. I mean it was 40 years ago when I first started seeing his work. Always enjoyed his work though. These freaked me out a bit as a kid.

Erol Otus posted another piece and hinted at an as yet still secret project!

Right now I’m working on some paintings that have to remain secret for quite some time, frustrating because I would like to share. Taking this period to show some favorite things from before I was on Facebook. Painting for Gamehole Con 2016. I was sort of thinking we at that convention were within the tower:

Has Erol Otus ever done any animation?
I can't even being to imagine how utterly, stupefyingly amazing would be a psychedelic, old-school-style dungeon-delving cartoon series done in his style. I'd be all over that like drool on an eldritch sewer abomination.

If only I had a brazillion dollars and owned a major streaming platform.
