Resident Evil Village Review
great
Resident Evil Village is a genuinely engrossing and increasingly combat-heavy continuation of the Ethan Winters story.

Summary
Fear surrounds you in Resident Evil Village, the eighth main entry in the storied Resident Evil horror franchise.
Resident Evil Village News
Resident evil village takes the best aspects of the RE series and throws it into one game. The combat feels much like RE4, however doesn’t suffer from RE4’s lack of survival horror. The tone of the game is very much like RE7, except now Ethan is much more acclimated to the insanity of the series, leading to some of the best sequences since the early games. The story is much more compelling than RE7 and it is also nice to see characters old characters like Chris continue to play a role. Overall, even though I still think the earlier RE games are better, if I had to suggest only one of the games to somebody RE8 would be my first choice.
Another Resident Evil platinum trophy. I preferred third person perspective. A strong mix of areas and bosses to work through in what appears like any order initially but turns out to be linear due to keys needed. As always with these games, enjoyed the multiple play throughs with unlockables, higher difficulty and speed runs. Rose Winters bonus level was a nice addition with fresh ideas.
Mercenaries mode proved to be the biggest challenge due to luck involved for abilities unlocked on any given run. Very close to a 10.
