The relationships we have with our bodies come tangled up with enough confusing emotions when we live in them alone. But after incubating a whole entire other human? Well, things get even more complicated. How do we adjust to our new normal — the new baby in our arms, the new flaps and curves in our skin, the seemingly new person we're seeing in the mirror?
This week Katie sits down with Nicole Chavez, stylist to stars like Kristen Bell and Rachel Bilson, and Amy Rosoff Davis, a personal trainer who works with women like Selena Gomez and Emma Roberts, to discuss how we can care for and find new ways to relate to our bodies in the months (and years) after giving birth. Admittedly, the adjustment can take some time, but some expert advice on fashion, fitness, and nutrition can make that mama-body transition all the easier.
