Description

Rakov Škocjan is a karst valley at the northern foot of the Javorníky Mountains, formed by the caving and collapse of the ceiling of a karst cave. This is evidenced by the 42 m Little Natural Bridge, the 37 m Big Natural Bridge and the gorges behind them. A rest in the shade of centuries-old oaks, a view from the magnificent Great Natural Bridge, the ruins of the Church of St. Kancijan, a refreshment of the cave air under the sweet natural arch of the Little Natural Bridge or a walk along the footpath with the high-growing hikers is an unforgettable experience again and again
