A WHITE model who changed the colour of her skin and now identifies as black says she supports the Black Lives Matter protests.

Martina Big, from Germany, who has been taking melanin injections for two years, condemned what she said was the "exploitation" of the black community.

The model even got baptised in Kenya last year and now also goes by the name of Malaika Kubwa.

Martina – who was born with blonde hair and fair skin - explained that she stands by the current Black Lives Matter protests, sparked by the killing of George Floyd by police.

“Unfortunately, many black people are treated like second class people,” she said

“It cannot go on that white people lead a better life by exploiting and oppressing black people.

“I can, therefore, understand that black people no longer accept the injustices and demonstrate for a better future.

“I think it's right that people protest loudly against these grievances because this is the only way to point out the broad dimensions of these abuses and to indirectly exert pressure on politicians and other people in influential positions.”

Martina said she can’t sympathise with white people who disagree with the protests.

“Since I became a black woman, I have worked intensively to learn more about the culture and history of black people," she said.

Martina said that the three police officers who “stood by and watched on as their colleague murdered George Floyd” should be “severely punished,” noting that the police force should serve as role models for the community.

She emphasised she’s against any form of violent protesting, which she says “only affects innocent people”, and understands if white people who have been harmed by the violent protests are “angry.”

Martina also said that while she is in favour of dismantling controversial historic statues, it should be done without force.

She also condemned slavery “cruel and unjust,” noting that “innocent black people were violently torn from their homes, sold like a commodity, and forced to work for aristocratic white people.”

“What’s even worse is that many people stick to this old way of thinking and view black people as second-class people,” she continued.

Martina also hit out at US President Donald Trump, who she said has “never sympathised with black people during his tenure".

“What I found particularly shocking is that Trump had peaceful demonstrators in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington driven away with tear gas and rubber bullets to be photographed with a Bible in hand,” she added.

As well as injections to change the colour of her skin she has also undergone surgery to increase the size of her breasts and boasted they now weigh as much as a crate of beer.
