Eternally youthful and effervescent, at 56, Nicole Kidman is living her best life. In fact, she’s got more joie de vivre than most of Gen Z. She goes to gigs; wears the tiniest of short skirts, and (my personal favourite), loves to engage in a spot of unapologetic PDA. Sometimes she does all three together. When I grow up I want to be just like her.

Proving yet again that age ain’t nothing but a number, here she is defying the ancient “rule” about having long hair past a certain age with a head of tumbling cool girl waves. Coiffed by legendary hairstylist (and king of “cool girl” hair) Sam McKnight, her long honey-hued locks have been styled effortlessly to the side, the soft kinks and tousled feel adding to her overall carefree vibe.
To finish the look, make-up artist Polly Osmond has opted for some everyday glam; lashes and a touch of taupe accentuate the eyes, while a daub of blue and soft pink lips all adds to Kidman’s youthful glow.
