Most likely the gaming phone would be either the Nokia 9 or the resurrection of the Nokia N-Gadge back in 2003.

Considering STEAM has support Android natively, slowly but sure GOOGLE and STEAM will make a spesific incorporation for Android optimized gaming platform. It might replace the gaming console afterall.

Geez, even this topic has a full of...

              HMD is Chinese
              HMD is Finnish

Blah! Enough with that kids and appreciate the product instead!

Sony without a gaming title have the best gaming devices yet. This is pathetic.

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2018Jesus this is embarrasing from you. Nokia IS NOT workin... moreNot disrespect intended but your ignorance is embarrassing. Both Nokia and HMD are finish (their headquarters in front of each other) and while chinese FIH builds the phones, Nokia board has 50+1% board decision rights. So new Nokia is almost as finish as old Nokia.

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2018Jesus this is embarrasing from you. Nokia IS NOT workin... moreHMD Global Oy, branded as HMD, is a Finnish mobile phone company, made up of the mobile phone business that Nokia had sold to Microsoft in 2014, then bought back in 2016. HMD Oy (limited company) began marketing smartphones and feature phones under the Nokia brand on 1 December 2016. The company has exclusive rights to the Nokia brand for mobile phones through a licensing agreement.[5]
HMD is headquartered in Espoo, Finland, opposite Nokia's head office, and the company is largely run by former Nokia executives.[10] The first CEO was Arto Nummela, a Nokia veteran for 17 years, until July 2017 when President Florian Seiche took over as CEO.[11] Manufacturing is outsourced to Foxconn.[12][13][14] Nokia has no investment in HMD but remains a partner, setting mandatory requirements and providing patents and technologies, in return for royalty payments.[15][16] HMD uses a marketing strategy advertising the Nokia phones as "pure, secure and up to date" (referring to a stock Android interface and its commitment to fast updates) as well as brand trust and nostalgia
So yeah, NOKIA is more NOKIA of the old days than it has been in a long time.

Just simply branding as N-Gage 2019

                            Hopefully with physical controller support

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2018What's the difference between flagship phone and gaming pho... moreAs a gaming in the name will add more ways to milk money from dumb people :D
Like the 120Hz screen where most games on android are locked at 30fps and only few are on 60fps. For the 120Hz to make sense you need to have 120fps but there is no hardware in mobiles that can run anything at 120fps stable. The SD845 wont even run 60fps heavy graphics games.

As long as they dont make some new cpu and gpu combo that will be more powerfull then any flagship and will end in gaming phone only then we ca talk about it like there is something to id.

And as a gaming phone should cost under 400 euro as otherwise it's more sense to just buy xbox or playstation

That's the Nokia 7.1 or the Nokia 9 (which is rumored to be postponed so it can get Snapdragon 855). LOL at all the people arguing about HMD. You're like toddlers.

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2018What's the difference between flagship phone and gaming pho... moreBoth are high-end flagships. The aspects that made it a "gaming" smartphone is the faster refresh rate, better liquid cooling system, better stereo speakers, and a gaming control center. If only they have a extreme version of the current SNAPDRAGON 845 that's able to control the voltage, clock speed, RAM speed freely, with the addition of a reset button if everything is messed up, I'll call it a gaming smartphone, also with a on par camera of course

All of the companies are making gaming phone but the only brand I wanted to see having a gaming phone is Sony!! But they choose to stay quite!!! I want a goddamn Xperia with a Playstation branding on it!!!
                                        Lol
