Even though Selena Gomez spends the majority of the time with her hair sleek and straight, you should know (and you probably already do), that her strands are naturally curly. Every so often we get a glimpse at her natural texture, and when we do, we're always suuuper jel of those flawless beachy waves.
Since Selena chopped her locks into a chic bob, she hasn't sported a full head of curls in a while. Last night, however, Hairstylist Marissa Marino was kind enough to upload this beaut pic of Sel, with tumbling waves and a lighter hue to go with it.
With warm, auburn coloured ends, the ombre update is a subtle change to her usual dark brown shade and we're very much into it. Aside from a few brief stints with blonde, Selena has stuck to her natural colour for the most part, so it's nice to see her switching it up.
If you were wondering how to recreate this effortless beachy style, grab some hair tongs, spritz a heat protection spray through the lengths and ends, and taking 2cm pieces, start wrapping your hair around the barrel.
Keep doing this until you've covered your whole head. Leave the curls for five minutes to set and then gently brush through, this will soften them and give a soft, bouncy finish. Set the style with hairspray, and some texture spray for added volume.
